Quick question: I'm guessing you do not keep trains/practices when you remort from adventurer class? Wondering if I should spend them all before I do so...
Adventurers
Spend all practices that you have as adventurer, if you spend trains, they get deducted later on. Practices won't be deducted, you'll get new ones with your new guild ranks.
thank you, that answers my question.
I don't normally do adventurers, because I hate leveling, but from what I remember...
You lose everything except for the practices put into skills. So whatever skills you use practices on will keep that proficiency, but whatever practices and trains you had leftover reset back to their normal level 1 values. Whatever skills you practiced/trained as an adventurer will retain those values (so if you practiced/trained a skill to 80 as an adventurer, once you unlock that skill later it will automatically be at 80 again, without having to be practiced).
Somebody correct me please, if I am wrong.
If that's the case, I will start going adventurer with all my chars. It means that you will get a lot of practices that you won't need to practice the things you have already practiced as an adventurer and it will allow you to buff on HP and Mana for example.
Will get you a total of maybe 20 hp more, yes.
Well its a hit or miss. For example, as max roll for a drow is 25 normally, but only 23 as an adventurer. So the 20 extra hp is totally negated in that case.Plus its rare to actually save on 20 practices i believe. It's more likely 1.5 or 1 extra train you may save in the end.
True for drow, but in some cases the max roll for adventurer is higher than the class specific max roll for a race.
That said, Anume nailed it - if you want to rank to 30 twice for an extra 20hp... Well, you go Glen Coco.
Adventurer allows you more time to lay the foundation for your RP. Its 20 hp advantage can be much higher depending on other factors such as wisdom and intelligence. As for max rolls, as Evangelion said some races roll higher for adventurer than certain classes, so you have to be prudent in your decision making. For instance; If your rolling a half elf monk(max 25) do not roll adventurer (max 23), likewise if rolling half drow bard(max 26) do not roll adventurer. And the second trip to level thirty passes in a blink at any rate because your character has skill levels and armor that should destroy most of the pre thirty ranking mobs. Good luck and have fun.
