I just wanted to ask, if a shield  lore warrior gets L skill in Gladiator, will there be any execution?

No.

You can allegedly spend RP points to reselect your warrior lore.

So don't over-think, just have fun.

Yes it is. I was just curious. Not playing a warrior at the moment and I hardly ever dreamed of becoming L of anything, heh.
