so where does everyone spend their time at 50, besides cabal warfare or other cabal affairs. Ive been looking around to see if I can find some people and I just never seem to run into anyone. I mean the occasional bumb in town but thats it there gone within seconds

Times have been hard for the Elven Kingdom. known for their allegiance to Ilthrias Corimak, they found themselves effectively blocked off from the outside world by The Empire and The Nexians. Lately, it has gotten so hard, Queen Orilende has started moonlighting as an exotic dancer in the Pinnacle Penthouse. They are her loyal patrons, each for their own reasons.
Towns have become avoided unless you're a thief or ninja. Stolen items and assassination attempts are feared, so, no one hangs out in towns unless they're a Tribunal or a Herald.
Most people are looking for elusive pieces of equipment or have a favored area to sit in, though usually cabal warfare (armies/standards/pk) take up the majority of people's times. I try to assist newer players as I can with what little knowledge I can share in game, though, I often need help with things at 50.
Honestly I spend most of my time gather resources when I am not involved in Cabal Warfare/combat. So depending on my race/class combo, there are always things to be gathering and storing up. Get yourself a locker if you do not already have one and stock that up as well.

how long does the stash keep stuff like leaves and other consumables? just wondering cause usually mine rot after a few days
let a thief / ninja / merchant preserve yours or buy preserved ones from a Merchant
Buy travel bag.
Put all.leaves bag
Close bag
Put bag backpack

When merchants plant do the herbs they grow need to be preserved, or do they come preserved?

On a side note why can't Rangers preserve? Wouldn't it make sense?
I've always wondered the same thing.
While those living in the forest could gather the plants as was needed,
city-dwellers were not so lucky. They found that the herbs collected
from only a few days ago would quickly rot away into useless dirt.
A solution was quickly found by the Thief and Ninja Guilds. Today,
they are the only ones who know how to preserve drugs.
The help file almost contradicts itself.

Help files, just like RP, are there to explain and justify a (s)kill.
The fact that rangers actually cant forage herbs though, makes as much sense as Evangelus' RP.
When it comes to game mechanics and balance though - it's perfect.
