mush client

So ive been playing with triggers and timers and things but my timer isnt doing what i want it to.. My problem Is that when the tick comes up it puts an input on the client and adds a command.. is there a way to make it tell me but not put a command? And i also was wondering about alias'.. what im wondering ia how to make an alias where i can type something after (example alias cc cast chill) and be able to put like cc dryad if that makes sense

Not too certain about MUSH, so I can't really help you with client aliases and tick timers, but you do have in game aliases.

alias cc cast chill

cc dryad should then in turn work.

But you will lost out on clan chat!

That's why I try to stay away from cc, cb and cs with aliases.  ch or ct for chill touch, for example.  Or you could just go ccc for chill touch.

Best advice ever.

Yeah i dont realy use chill touch i was just using it as an example but it has worked with the other things im using

just make a bunch you can all hit with your left hand, use three letters instead of two so you don't screw yourself when you're speaking with someone, this leaves your right hand free to use the directional keyboard, which should have hotkeys for /, *, -, +, 0, ., 1, and 7 for common fight tactics (i.e. scan all, where pk)/potion grabs. (9 and 3 are up/down for me and 5 is look)

Aliases won't fire in the middle of a line.

As an example: alias in cast 'invisibility'

If I then did: "say I'm looking in the box" it would print "Magick says 'I'm looking in the box'."

The exception is if they're in your client at the beginning of the line.  Or at least they do for me in Zmud.

note + In the beginning there was nothing, then God said 'Let there be light!' and there was still nothing, only you could see it.

would then look like:

cast 'invisibility' the beginning ...

I'm still working on those.
