Cabal gear only - combo suggestions

Plan is to get to 50 wearing whatever, accumulate a few hundred cps, then start wearing nothing but outfit/cabal gear and see how well I can do. I hate gearing as it is, and usually am not wearing things much better than this anyhow.

My cabal knowledge is pretty limited though, so that is where I need help. With the above in mind, can you guys throw some ideas my way for race/class/cabal combos that would have the best chance at success? I've never had a q anything, so leave those out. Also, no WM glad monk, I know that combo works already. A different cabal with monk is cool though.

Slith thief in WM (barb) with webcaster trap. Get R done.

In my opinion, WM has the best synergy from its equipment. Combine that with the synergy thieves in gladiator get and the synergy of their skills and I believe an evil slith thief in gladiator is what you are looking for. That is probably the combo that gains most of all the combos possible when joining a cabal, PK wise, with fire giant cleric in temporum being very close behind.

Have in mind though, that thieves in general are very hard to play in warmaster (RP wise). Also, slith thieves have huge drawback when joining gladiator, due to their low mana pool/regen and the dependency of gladiator skills on mana (???).

No matter what combo you play though, I doubt you will be able to fully equip a competitive PK character with cabal gear only (from outfit and the special cabal items).

I do like the FG Temporum cleric idea. Though I'm a bit worried playing it because of the vuln to ice weapons. I've had some bad experiences with heavy vuln races and being poorly equipped.

Any other ideas?

WM thief is a good suggestion. While they may be easy to bypass....some arent.

I had a ton of fun with Ttlar.

any hybrid in adjudicator

I have never seen any successful gladiator thief, ever.I think it's because when you are gladiator as a thief, you forget to play as a rogue but go toe to toe with hard melee classes.

thats part of the fun though.

If I have to choose between glad thief and pand thief, I will take the pand all day long.I would even take stalker before gladiator, but that's just me

Gladiator is probably one of the most empowering cabals any melee can enter. There are very few cabals i would choose over Gladiator on a basis of power.

Werewolf ranger gladiator. That is by far the least eq dependant while pk viable thing your gonna find. Have fun getting a wolf
