solo ranking after 30, pets obsolete?

I've been switching between characters, unsure of what I even want to play really. But one thing I noticed is that pets seem to really get obsolete after a certain level. Not that they don't have their uses, sure, but you really hit a brick wall as a shaman or a healer in the late 20s and 30s when the alsatian/gorilla/stone golem just seem to hit the end of their power band.

Is this something worth looking into? Solo ranking seems to be the only way to go a lot of times. How can this be made less stagnant for half of the games classes?

Guild quests.

Ive done all the newbie quests and tamara quests.

Go to your guild, then to the Guildmaster. Say something like, "Any quests you need assistance with?" Then he will ask you if you want a easy, medium or hard quest. These give different amounts of gold/xp. Good luck.

You actually have to say, "Please master f0xx, give me some quest."

Then I will gaze down into your soul and decide whether to grant you one. If I deem you worthy, the guildmaster will ask if you wish EASY, MEDIUM or HARD quest.

I bet it's a wonder why anyone likes you, "master" f0xx

Get a Gharnizon if any.

Guild quests work, also ask pinns when you are in group range to help, a lot of them will if they don't have something better to do.

Every time I ask Thulgan to help me I expect to be pinned, the brought to my knees and slaughtered.

I always try to take time and help characters rank as well. I feel it's important to put all those crazy masteries/gear/cabal spells/skills to use and give back!

Actually, once you hit 30, and especially if you are a mage-type or do not have a blind / reliable blind... the professional soldier is a good one to get as it dirts.

yup! mindflayer is an excellent helper both in advice and helping level i know off the top of my head with the last project he had he helped me pinn 2 toons at least.
