blademaster equipment

Its my first one and I'm not quite sure what to look for in my equipment. any advice would be appriciated.

Hitroll is always my primary focus, damroll can be neglected in favor of hitroll in my opinion. The avg damage of your weapon is very important. As far as defensively it depends on what you are fighting as far moving some pieces into saves or not. I liked to try to find a comfortable level of saves where not every single shaman who regarded me sternly dropped 9 mals on my face instantly, but still with the obscene hitroll to shred through their -ac buffed backsides.
