Undead behavior - temporary undeads

As you probably all know the relationship of undeads is regulated by the covenant of Blood, a contract that forbids all undead to kill each other unless expressively granted allowance by the death god.

Undead goes along with a hierarchy:

lich > vampire > normal undead > zombies/lower undead/lower kindred

though this hierarchy is sometimes not accepted by some of the stronger vampires who deem themselves the liches' equal.

The convenant also applies for temporary undeads. If you find yourself in a situation where you are temporarily undead through qrace means, behave as an undead. Do never attack your creator. From a rp pov your creator should have some power over you, inhowfar you rp this out is up to you. Any action you take while under their influence will not get you in trouble for not doing cabal duties, etc.

So people, rp it properly! Do not just ignore it and wait for it to go away or continue on as before. Let us see some good rp!

Warning: do not discuss qrace skills in depth in this thread, that is not its intention.

I was thinking about this situation last night as it was happening. Funny you mentioned it. I wanted to see how the parties involved would deal with it.

Me as well. Good opportunity for some change up in RP people!

That being said, I've seen (a looong time ago) temporary undeads being attacked by the ones that 'created' them. Is this also a RP no no?

Big no no. Mephisoleer got undead stripped from him for attacking and killing one of my underlings as Philantees.

It should be treated the same as goods never killing goods, without the hard-coded punishments.

I know some people might feel like this tarnishes their goody-person RP but it is temporary, and tribulations make a character more deep and interesting. If you find something like this happens to you, take the opportunity to really make the story yours. Take a moment and think about how this changes your character; during the process, and after. I think you'll find that it adds some VERY interesting dimensions.

I remember Athelea turning on and possibly killing Sylp when turned undead, I believe. Now that was interesting.

My old Knight used to go blood crazy with qskilled and attack the other Knights. Most fun RP I think I've ever had. ROFL!
