10$? I never understood why people go with shared. You could host the server, the website, the wiki, and the forum for less than that a month with a vps and have resources to spare for a couple test servers, a jenkins for the code, and whatever else.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time, or the patience to run a VPS server. I'd rather someone else guarantee 99.9% up-time then me having to keep an eye on it 24/7. VPS servers are roughly 30% cheaper then the $10/mo deal I'm getting, however, I'm not running some huge business or expanding on some corporate deal.
