I'm back! Couple of things.

#1. I don't want to play a healer, but something close, but can fight back!

Cleric? Paladin? Druid? I'd rather be nuetral so, Druid? What race? Defensive > Offensive.

#2. I want to NOT use GMUD, I want something more Advanced. Anything Free out there? I have Trial of CMUD but cant figure out how to make a stat roller.

#3. Any stat rollers out there?

#4. Hi Anume <3 Forever

neutral halfling blademaster

read the post

  1. Paladins are very defensive, and can be very offensive when you need them to be. Downside, of course, is you have to be a goodie.

  2. tintin++. Very fun, easy to customize, can be scripted very easily if you like to learn things.

  3. Yes, I have one.. http://www.forsakenlands.net/wiki/wiki.pl?Roller

  4. Anume loves no one.

#1: Werebeast Druid, depending on your transform (I've only played falcon) you get some nice defensive buffs with that. Also, with the ability to pick stuff up while transformed, I really like the idea behind it.

#2: Mushclient has a good stat roller and easy to set up for me. Others prefer Tintin++, for help with Tintin I'm sure many people can help you out.

#3: I have one for mushclient. http://forsakenlandsroller.50megs.com/

#4: Anume wants your soul for her collection.

Psh. Hi!!

If neutral -> you need a solid reason to attack anyone. If you want to be more aggro, not neutral.

As goods suck in general (I always end up wanting to kill another good badly whenever I play one) play an evil cleric.

Hmmm... Never tried the whole evil cleric, seems anytime I thought about it everyone was an evil cleric at the time.

Any race you suggest?

drow or duergar for sure, but blademasters get acupuncture, they're like a maledictive warrior that can heal themselves at least once for a couple hundred hp. I suggested them over druids cause meh, druids are druids. Drow will have less hp but plenty of mana, and clerics are an attrition class class anyway, duergar you'll get some neat resistences, decent hp/mana, but you have a harder vuln to hit then say a fire giant. Keep in mind Invokers can always jet stream you, so they'll hit a duergar's vuln, there's some easy to get exotics/a quest weapon that most people have that will hit your vuln too, but those weapons are kinda weak. At least with a drow the only ones to hit your vuln with be thieves and ninjas, plus you get auto-sneak which is awesome

Edit: For the halfling thing, you don't have to worry about being bashed/bodyslammed, due to predicting, flight potions/scrolls to avoid trips and you can be a neutral, and you get all around magic resistance, which is sweet.

Edit 2: Ask Aulian about druids, he plays a good one, most druids I've fought I guess don't understand the class that well/how to gear, so I generally beat them easily. I've never played a druid though.

I would also recommend Mushclient, and speaking with jibber about druids. His last few have been very powerful.

Tintin, wintin etc, best client imo.

Heralds can fight back. If they're attacked. Roll one of those.

Plus, Anume loves me the best, so, you'll have to get in line.

Recommending Mushclient.

+1 for mushclient. fast, open source, variety of scripting languages.

Mushclient is just a tintin clone (no seriously, it is im not just trolling the mush folks). Go to the origional, use Tintin / Wintin.

Hrm.. speaking of humans, what extra perks do they get really? I always thought by being human your just set up not to have any vulnerable's

Get a few levels and use a few magical items like wands, staves, potions, pills, or the like. Humans get a bonus to using these. So human druids get a nice little benefit too.
