My character has been down on luck. When I wear a +3 Luck EQ the Luck Meter does not go up. Is this normal?
Is +1 luck equal to one bar in the Luck Meter?
If not, what is the scale? Should wearing + Luck EQ raise my luck instantly?

I have never seen my luck go up frlom wearing + Luck eq..
Its seems to happen randomly. Although... I do know for a FACT that high luck is a contributing factor to the success of many things.
+luck increases the chance for your luck to increase. You'll see changes over time.
I have long been a proponent of the benefits of +luck eq. You definitely notice the benefits of constantly having good luck over time - skills and spells across the board just work better.
Fate generator. Wear it before every tick. That is what I used to do, at least.

He is, however, completely accurate. Luck eq is some of the most valuable gear to use in your eq set. From my experience it has a very noticable effect on your character in every aspect from regen, to combat, to that damned dart game, to tarot cards. It is immensely valuable and I highly recommend using it whenever possible, ESPESCIALLY on a monk.

Thanks for the response. It's odd, I have now been experiencing + Luck EQ raising and lowering my Luck Meter instantly as I wear/remove items. Then, sometimes, the Luck Meter won't be affected at all, even if piling on a significant number of + Luck EQ.
I have something to add to this. Although I am not sure if this 'new luck' system works as a gradual tick by tick increase with items only assisting it's direction, but I know for a fact that as of a day ago, a +3 luck pair of gloves raised my luck bar from yellow to green.
No Seriously... Is the luck system broken? I created a character with everything geared towards luck and I will be pretty cheezed if I wasted thos extra perks.
High -AC + high luck is very very beneficial.
Next time you find yourself saying, "OMG, so-and-so's hits me every round!" Well, they have high luck.
