no practices

what should I do if I have no prac sessions and just got a cabal skill?

Train the skills old school - by using (spamming) them.

Also, you can train cabal skills in your cabal. There is a guy in every cabal that will raise your proficiency by 1% for 8 CPs for any cabal skill bellow 75% and by 1% for 50 CPs for every cabal skill between 75% and 95%.

Eh, training the old school way - by spamming them, won't work if he has no practices to begin with. Skills won't raise from 1% by use. You will have to go to the cabal trainer and get them up before you're able to train.

Cabal skills start at 2%

thats what I was afraid of, thnx.

Don't spam them, the cp cost to spam them, especially spells, are usually 10cp cost or more depending on Cabal. I usually find that most Cabal skills/spells are pointless for me to even use compared to my regular class skill/spell set. Only certain Cabals do I ever go out of the way to use them.

Depends on the skill, try out what is cheaper, spamming or buying up. Many do not cost anything if you loose concentration and you'll do that a lot when low.

Also, some cabal spells and skills are halved in CP cost when in a cabal, or in an area that your cabal owns.

so far It seems it costs 7 cb to lose concentration but gain one point every time, and eight from the teacher. not sure yet, isnt there some way to buy practices or quests that grant them?

some quests do grant pracs/trains, but we can't say which ones do.

oh i know, I just thought I recalled a certain one granting them, wasnt sure though. found out it costs 7 points whether the spells fails or not.

There are quests that grant A LOT of CPs too.
