Guild Quests...

Are the targets of your "get this from this person then give it to that person..." supposed to be vague? I don't understand why Miriam insists on sending me to people and not describing where they're at...

On top of that is there a reason why I can't Gate to half the people in the world?

Creatures in one exit rooms are hard to gate to. Creatures in no exit rooms harder. Creatures that out rank you are also hard. This is why I suggested learning the name of a low level mob in each area.

So "something blocks you" isn't saying it's impossible... just difficult.

Learn a weak mob in each area, then gate to them and walk towards your destination.

Just be grateful that with a healer you will be taking one fifth of the time another class would take.

Avoid areas like Winter, Desolation, Blood.

And start using SANCTUARY, protective shield and Flight.

This spells should be on all the time.

Shield

Protective Shield

Pass Door

Armor

Bless

Prayer

Protect

and Accession / Divine Retribution (during an actual fight) are all activated.

It is impossible. You can never gate directly to the quest mob. As soon as a mob is linked to a quest it gets a telelock flag. Otherwise it would be too easy for healers to do guild quests.

Learn low level mobs in each area/city. Also, you can create your own gates by summoning things around. Have a different animal in each city for instance and build from there.

edit: Also, remember summoning something into a city will make it yell out, so don't get caught by the tribunal

also remember th ere are multiple of some mobs. A good indicator is if it says a or the.

try gating to 2. because then you will be in the same area as the mob your supposed to visit. Keep noted there are some mobs that you will not be able to gate to anyway.

A change? Was possible for many years, I avoided it because the quest requires you to enter the room in a way besides gate. But it WAS possible to gate directly to the "target" of the quest. Both guild quests and clan quests.

Am I allowed then to ask here, where is the damned Pirate ship in the Waterfall?

I've scurried about there trying to find "The first mate".

Also "The cook" near the Elemental Valley, or even the "The Ice Bandit" those are the three people I can't find in game... and Meriam keeps sending me to those people and I can't find them...

Resulting in a very irritated player.

Pirate ship is in Waterfall, you need to find a up Exit in the middle of the Lagoon/Lake. Hint, it's all north from the path to the area.

Waterfall is an area in the North part of the Ooze area south of Val Miran.

The Cook is not in Elemental Canyon, but in Pirate Ship.

Ice Bandit is in Elemental Valey, near the Fire Ruller.

Go east of Rheydins, passing Kesrick untill you reach a Crossroad.

Take the north path to the Mountain Trail ???.

The Elemental Valley is a North of the first east path that you can take if you head north/up right after the crossroad.

It's easy in Game.

If you don't know Already, you can use LOOK SKY to check area name.
