Note writing.

Ok, some of your guys notes look just plain awesome. you have borders and all sorts of nice stuff in them. RPing the note isn't my problem. And I'm good at descriptions. But as far as formatting notes goes.....

Could you guys give me some pointers on how to do this so they look neat and clean?

It would be really nice to have good looking applications and notes.

I'm not a fan of the gigantic wall of text that I tend to send out. I'm scared it will fall and crush some poor herald.

Well formatted notes depend on the font size/type being used. Not all clients and players use the same type, so what can look very nice for you can look vastly different for someone else.

To set it to look good on your end, find what size and font you use, and use those settings in your word document. What I do then is set an alias for 'note +' (usually just +) and put that before each sentence in word, then copy and paste.

Ok, another dumb question. how many characters are allowed on a line in the mud? I notice that characters are capped across clients (or seem to be) no matter the font size.

Edit: Sorry for the impolite response. Thank you Volgathras.

No problem. Try not to make your lines longer than 70 characters (spaces included).

Somehow I expected Volg to reply paragraphs should be six lines of sixty six characters.
