Simple issue, need a fix.

I rely on where much more then** scanning** - and only scan once I've closed in on them by following them with where.

Ditto. Scanning confuses me a little bit. Where is always easier for me.

I use a highlight tied to my targeting system so I automatically highlight my PK target in bright yellow. Impossible to miss that.

Maybe that's where my weakness lies, I just finally figured out how to highlight stuff for when my buffs fall, and finally found a disarmed trigger I can actually stand to see. (Was told they were good, but always felt like they lagged me too much, figured out one that works well with my current setup.).

Guess I need to mess around more with some aliases and whatnot, I type everything out long-hand. Granted I have decent typing skills, but typing two letters instead of 10 is always faster.

How do you manage to highlight your PK target Nameless? Just curious, I use MushClient, I know lots of people prefer Gmud.

Also, I'm getting better at counting to 30, which apparently is a HUGE skill.

Lol, if you use mushclient tonight when I get home I can email you a generic world file with a help file to show you how it works.

Maybe I need to try something other than Gmud...

Gmud is for tossers, and sheep shaggers

scanning works best for me in pk...then I am where if they are out of range.

you get real good at entering those direction commands

I've just always used Gmud, although having highlights does sound very useful.

See I use the numpad for directions, and have where/scan bound to 7 and 5. so I hit where, see "A darkly lush forest" rush to that part, and fire off another where, if still there its scan.

Hah, awesome. Don't know if that speeds it up but it'd make things easier.

well I use alt + a,s,q,or w as macros to initiate combat, so I can run/chase with one hand, and attack with the other. If you wanna hear freakish I remember celerity uses a gaming mouse with macros bound to the gaming keys. Freakish

Gmud is for tossers' date=' and sheep shaggers [/quote']

DIE!

Nope not kidding.

I've tried the number pad off and on for awhile but I just can't get the hang of it, now if anyone knew of a keyboard that had the number pad on the LEFT side of the keys, I'd be all over that. I'd be the faster than Jibber while he's Link-Dead!

If you can think it up, it is for sale on the internet

You're my hero.

Edit: Wouldn't happen to have a tick timer that works would ya?

lol there for the longest I had my cellphone set with a repeating timer to ding around the time it should go off, would just resynch it when I logged in. Since it changes it's hard to get it perfect.

Since I use so many aliases I just think it'd be faster to type n,s,e,w and have simple one letter aliases for where and scan.

This is a page Matt(amue) setup for his FL plugins. Has a timer, targeting system, variable system, and a roller set up. I recommend using the dfault world, and tweaking it to fit your needs. toss me a PM if you need some help with aliases, and how to setup the macro+alias system built into it.

Can I save my mushclient to a thumb-drive and operate it that way without loosing any of this? (triggers, highlights and things) If so I'm trying mush out tonight, I'll fiddle with it and try to figure it out while doing some training.

I've got everything downloaded from there including the basic world and the tick timer, it just seems the tick timer gets off sometimes and I haven't figured out how to get it back on track, it just goes further and further off as I go along.

And I believe you can operate mushclient from a thumb drive, I wouldn't see a problem there. Just install it onto the drive and run it from there.

THat is exactly what I do is use a drive for it. I keep a few mobile apps, and my mushclient on a good ol thumb drive.
