What determines this?
Can you have cabal pet and pets from items.
What about a beast master or Nero does it vary by class?
Like could a ranger have 3 pets a cabal pet and an item charmie?

I may be wrong, but I believe the max for anyone at pinn is 5 pets/charmies.
Item charmies and cabal pets often share the same "slot"
There can be a max of six with a necromancer. I'm not sure if this has changed or not, but Pominsu had 3 zombies, 1 stone golem, 1 flesh golem, and a Blood Guard in Tribunal.
With Grum, I'm not allowed anything else once I have a Blood Guard. No pets, can't make me a golem, and no winterwolf.

if grum cant have 2 pets why can oppressant? So your saying its class based on what slot it uses? this is just an example, not trying to dime out oppressant at all. Very classy player.
I think if you get a golem/winter wolf, then summon a Blood Guard, it works.

Don't be jealous of Oppressant's ability to get a Winterwolf and a Blood Guard at the same time.

playing a neutral in this game is a slippery boring slope. prefer good or evil by far.
I've found neutrals easiest and most fun to play.
