So when I critical strike diff parts will it tell me if I land the effect caused by it? Like if the damage lands does that mean the effect landed? I don't see anything happen when I do legs or head but I'm pretty sure I know what they do.
Critical strikes question
In short, yes.
Most of the times you will need to use detect magic to determine what the effect actually is, and with some critical strikes, even with detect magic you still won't be able to know what exactly they do.
Due to the expertness of Foxx, I've found that finding a few different friendly sparring partners is best for figuring out EXACTLY what they do, it's a trial and error type of deal anyways to get specifics, but if you find someone friendly enough to waste some time learning, never pass it up.
I know what they do I just don't remember if it says an effect when it lands.
No, just because there is no "affect" message does not mean that the affect was unsuccessful.
all of the anatomy 100 + ones have clear messages.
Not really.
Not really.
maybe I have some kind of advanced insight, but I found them all quite easy to determine just by the messages with Londil. The lower ones however, everything before feet, offer no evidence of an effect at all to the attakcing player.
Well actually...
Head, Stomatch, Diaphram and Solar Plex don't actually show any affect. However each of them have specific purposes.
Some of the lower strikes are actually much more powerful then the higher ones.. you just need to know how to use them in at the perfect times.
The secret is don't get to focused on your critical strikes as your only source of offence. Yes they are very important but like everything else you need to be strategic with each person you fight.

diaphram and solar plexus show specific messages when they are succesful.
Critical strikes are your debuffs, select ones will completly dominate select classes.
Lol K, don't mislead the less experienced ![]()
not sure what i said that was misleading.
Dia and Solar do offer clear messages when they land..
Critical strikes ARE debuffs, and they DO shut down specific classes when applied in the right situations...
Hell ya they do. I agree 100%
There are a few things you can do to an Invoker that will ruin their day. They will be running for the hills.
Also when you fight a battlemage that happens to be slow. Through in a few hits and they literally will be sucking their thumb hoping you miss continuing critical strikes to keep them around wink (If you are an expert in their anatomy ofcoarse)
I think I have played enough Blademasters to say that I agree.
I've played enough invokers to want to say halfling blademasters should be illegal. ![]()
Blademasters require a lot of finesse by the player. I bow down to any player who can play one well and not die consistently (like me). No matter what eq matchups I have, no matter what my anats are (I usually have them 90+ at 50) what I critical strike, etc, I always die a horrible death.
I have never played a blademaster and will never do.They are the most boring class in the game.If you fight a warrior, use predict and spam ounsaught, if you fight a mage class, use spellkiller and spam onslaught again.
. That will keep the trolls well fed.
I predict that many will feed the troll.

He's not really worth it.
