no i mean MAKING the staffs you dont get the max hit/dam untill its at 100%

Well, if you don't mind waiting, wait till you join cabal and after that you can train it up to 95 with CPs. It will be a bit costy though and you will still have to master it yoursefl to 100.

From what I remember, ranger staff proficiency makes no difference whatsoever. Could be wrong, though.

it makes a big difference,i wont get into specifics but theres a huge difference between 99 and 100%

Ranger Staff isn't so bad. Its insect swarm that always takes me forever, and its affects do not last long enough when mastered. JMO
(tip) I ussually master ranger staff simply by not wielding anything but a ranger staff from pugil to pinnacle. I thought this was where the Reverend was going.
just so nobody gets confused i was wrong aboutthe hit/dam it only affects avg damage after some i'd-ing
And thats all that matters really.
Train it at pinnacle.
Some things are just not worth spamming as you get them, cause they take so less time at Pinnacle.

I've never had problems with mastering insect swarm and on the other hand I've given up multiple times to master ranger staff.
This reminds me the time that Minotaur bloke IB4M, told on the forums that if you mastered refresh it's effects would double.

Anyone who has EVER mastered malform weapon, needs to be banned, and a car full of hookers, booze, and weed sent to their home.
