Any tips for training these? Or is it summon a poison immune mob, sleep it in some way, cast away?
Or summon undead mob, fight with weak weapon to not kill it fast, cast away?
Anyone have some better tips?

find a mob that is immune to it. Pay a necro, shammy, ninja, thief, ranger (archer) or DK (takes FOREVER hehe) to get it asleep. Then cast to your hearts content.
Bards can also put mobs to sleep. And there are a few very rare items that could help you, but good luck on getting those to train with.
Good advices guys... ![]()
The mob you are looking for is a medic warrior. Can be summon by "medic", ie "c sum medic".
If you are necro, you put him to sleep.
If you are shaman, you blind him then insomnia. Wait for the insomnia to trigger and stay into the room you want him to fall asleep since it will follow.
If you are DKN, I would advice charming the mob and then ordering it to sleep.
Also, the mob can usually be found after the entrance door of the fortress of gestride.
Eh, I didn't include the name of the mob most people use because I figured that could easily be found out/asked in game.
A gayal is also good. I think it is undead and thus Immune. Though it's been awhile...
Crows work just the same, plus you can train your weapons at the same time.
I'm fairly sure you can dispel those spells on mobs?
Thanks to everyone for the tips. I actually got the medic advice from another via PM already. I'll have to go try it out.
And as for training on the crows...I don't think I want to train plague on anything that I'm sure isn't immune to it. Don't want to plague myself.
There are a couple of charm staffs (one extremely rare, one extremely weak), if you are not a dk, you can still charm it to sleep.
Most training is done (I find) before DK's even get charm, If I was playing a DK I'd prob just ask another to blackjack/strangle/sleep him for me for a few coins, screw cleave fail cleave fail cleave fail cleave fail until my eyes pop out of my head.

Pity that it's immune to charm. Good try though ![]()

I dunno what you're on about, but I've used that same tactic on it and it worked. I am talking from personal experience, not because someone advices me to do it ![]()

I had a DK very recently and I was NEVER able to charm the warrior medics or anything else in Gasteride's fortress. Unless something's changed in the last six months, it's still like that.
There's a charming staff? Can you believe that I play this game from almost ten years now, hahaha.(with a huge amount of leaving and returning though)
There are two charm staves.
