I have been asking around for some time now, some of the people who have played some of the most successful blademasters. None of them managed to give me clear reply though, so now I decided to bring my questions before you, the vets of FL in hope that you can and will be willing to share the replies with me.
There are quite a few logs in which we can see blademasters doing 5 attacks per round with a two handed weapon. I've personally played 2 BLMs at 50. A halflling and a slith. I never managed to get a round in which I Do more than 3 attacks per round with a two handed weapon. EVER. Not even one with 4. On my slith BLM the proficiency at avatar of steel was 99%.
My other question is related to the skill avatar of steel itself. Everyone who has played a BLM knows that this skill is a huge pain to train. I've spent a lot of time in minoma doing nothing else but training this skill. I noticed that when I was using a two handed weapon the skills was not improving AT ALL, which basicly means that it does not affect two handed weapon. When I was training while dual wielding I noticed I was getting the usual 5 attacks per round and the skill was normally going up (very slowly, but still going up).
So to sum it up:
-
What do I have to do to increase my chances of getting 5 attacks per round with a two handed weapon?
-
Is it normal of avatar of steel to not increase in proficiency when using two handed weapon?
