Seperating commands with....something

I seem to recall being able to seperate commands using some symbol, like a comma, or a period, or a little gator mouth thing <, and then hitting enter to have all the commands go.

I.E. If I'm going to to the Portal in Rheydin from CC, instead of hitting n-enter-n-enter-n-enter-w-enter-w-enter-n-enter-give 300 gold gate-enter, I could instead type n:n:n:w:w:n:give 300 gold gate: and THEN hit enter, and it performs all of those. In place of those colons was....something, but I don't remember what.
