Werebeast question...

Meh' date=' I just see it as I'm not going for some special q-race or anything. Just a little frustrated that I'm on ranger 21 without a falcon or wolf yet. Kinda discouraging. No not exactly 21, just feels like it.[/quote']

Did you know if your Char has "wolf" or "falcon" somewhere in the name, you have a 99% chance of getting that animal?

Ehh, no. I got to 15, practiced transform and transformed into a tiger or bear, that is pretty definite proof I didn't have falcon or wolf...You don't get the race of "were-name of beast" until your 15.

Immortals say beast forms are balanced when they are not. If they are balanced indeed why not let people PICK them instead of them being randomly handed out.

Wink face means joke.

As for balance, I can't comment. I've never really played a werebeast and don't know an incredible amount about them.

Getting different beasts means you're chosen by Gaia to be given such powers. If it were just your choice it wouldn't be as RP oriented as you knew you were getting it to begin with. As is with the random thing, your transformation is a 'gift' and not a right. So having it found out at level 15 is WAY better than finding out at level 30 or 50 after you spent tons of time on the character already. And not getting it until 15 is probably more RP than anything else.

At least it's not 16. You log in to play, get to 15 with no description approved yet and no Imms on and spend another 15 hours before it gets approved. :-P j/k

Leave it to somebody to take up for the game, can't we have our fun. Just this once? Gaw!

Ive had a few werebeasts and I kind of convinced myself it was to do with the religion you choose, ie I wanted a bear so I choose combat and hey presto I got the bear. Though my last one I got falcon which was nice but I was wanting wolf. Shame they cant be warriors that would be very nice.
