Avatar of steel

This is something that has been bothering me for some time now.

AVATAR OF STEEL

Syntax: automatic

When a blademaster truly masters his own mind and body

he may achieve oneness with his weapon unknown to any other

warrior. Those whom have seen the display of swordplay

shown by such masters are often stunned by the beauty and

serenity present in such perfect union of flesh and steel.

The help file gives absolutely no information on what the skill actually does.

When I played a BLM some time ago, I tried mastering this skill, but since it is automatic I guessed I only had to be in battle for it to go up. So there was I at 0 anatomy on elves and 75% at this skill, so I had time in my hands and went to train my elf anatomy. By the time my elf anatomy went to 100 this skill was at something like 77. And mind you, I was using a mob to train anatomy on, so that was not just hours of constant combat, those were days of it.

So can I get some kind of clarification on what does this skill actually do and how to train it?

Another attack, I think. Training via combat.

Source

WC

Yea, theres the old WC. A bit rusty, as you could only name one source for this? Jeeze.

And yea, avatar of steel is an extra attack. If you ever have trouble in the future set a trigger to go off if you get better at the skills

You have improved your knowledge of Hand to Hand!

tell yourself YA GOT BETTER AT HAND TO HAND !!!!!!!

That way you can scroll back through a log and see what you did to make it better.

You know those weapons which blind/wrath/freeze...

You not do that x2.

Why is it that whenever I see Mya posted, I just can't wait to read what she wrote.

Heh, that effect is not coming from Avatar of steel I believe.

Alright then, another question.

Let us say for example I have a halfer BLM, with EVERYTHING mastered.

How many attacks am I supposed to get with either two handed weapon and dual wielding. In the best case.

Five or six, depending on stance.

When playing my blm, I always just looked at that skill and thought it was a fancy name for 'fourth attack' and knew it was one of those things that you just got to leave going up by themselves and the more you fight the more it goes up, my character had like 180hrs and it had gone up 6 times, about 40 of those hours was without the actual skill.'

Is Mya hot?

Yeah it just takes time, time, time time, is mya hot? Ask her!

So mya, uh.. I think you know what I'm about to ask...

Avatar of steel reminds me of Metal Mario from super smash bros
