Hey guys I am back and managed to get myself into a cabal, I am below the rank of 50, so of someone takes my standard and since I am below 50 and I am not in there pk range am I allowed to get it back? or is it not possible or now allowed, thought I would ask before try lol

edit: To be more clear, you're right. You can't fight them. But you both can take and recover standards.
Retrieving shouldn't be much of a problem but the tough guard version should be a tough cookie for a low level char, so do not waste your time with going for your enemy cabal's standard but use that time to rank.
If they take yours though, you should retrieve.
You'll both get a bit of cp's doing such too.
But to answer your question, you are required to do so. It's not a choice for you, which is one of the downfalls of being pre-50 in a cabal due to the fact you might have to break up a hunt to retrieve your standard, or face a 50 as a lvl 42.

Once you get the hang of it you'll be able to go and get your standard while the group sleeps for repop. Return and continue.
The real fun starts when you get into their PK range. I wonder if your'e an elf paladin.....
