Can anyone help me with Religion choices here on FL.
If you want to be a warrior, should you always take combat?
Is this an ingame question? I just don't have the foggiest when it comes to creation, when it comes down to what religion..

Your religion is your religion. It is your character's deepest, most cherished beliefs, just like religions are in real life. If your warrior loves the thrill of battle and believes that life is best spent fighting, then pick Combat. If your warrior believes in wiping out evil and living a sinless life, go Purity. If your warrior doesn't care about anything but making money, go Greed. It's all about what your character cares most for.

As to the warrior question, no.
Religion is just another way of fleshing out your character. Some people just choose it because they have to, others use it as an active tool to develop their RP, and some people just skate somewhere in between.
Some people like to lay out their RP moreso before creation, others like to develop as they go. If you are one of the former, the best bet is to try and integrate your religion with what your character believes in, if you are the latter than do this as best you can with your general idea of the char's direction.
I think religion has a lot of unexplored RP potential on FL.
I was asking because I see in the forums that people went a certain religion and it helped them tremendously, or some went a religion and it was terrible.
I assume they are talking about perks of each religion, Is it really that big of a difference, or is it as Pali and Calron say and more of an RP angle?
Chosing religion based on Bonus is for the following classes:
Cleric - Bless,Holy Hands,Divine Intervencion (Healers/shamans)
Paladins - Bless,
DK's - Malform Weapon
All other can take any religion they wish, that it will not affect them much, other than the usual Battlemage using bless scrolls.
For a Warrior a Religion is a RP thing.
Clerics and Healers get different effects from their 'Divine Intervention' spell depending on which religion they follow. People often try to choose the "best" divine intervention based on the effects that will help them PK. Personally, I would just ignore it, they are all useful.
