There are a number of items out there classed as relics. It seems that these have no effect on the game and harken back to some original code. What use are they for, or what use were they for in the past?

Let me tell you that Relics have a powerfull use in game. But only if you have joined the secret brotherhood of ultimate power, and use them at a certain hour of the night, in a certain place.
But since you know not his secrets you cannot benefit from them.
