Let me just remind eveyone that this IS a game. For pure enjoyment. But what makes this so much different from other games is that you gain so much more enjoyment through the interactions between other genuine imagined characters. Imagine how much fun Halo would be if that were possible.
Please tell me there aren't Halo MUDs... PLEASE tell me this. Let me keep some hope for humanity.

I've been playing since the days of Sirant, and up until recently all I ever possessed was the basics [mithril, onyx rings] and still love the H*** out of this game. You cant get this kind of interaction/variety/imagination usage like you can with other multiplayer rpgs like the WoW's and Everquests out there. I keep hearing that FL isn't Newbie friendly but it is, they give you small quests to get you started in the world, they give you starting gear, maps for the towns, Theres an academy with a cabal attached that can help as well. Theres a vast array of information available to you, you just have to want it enough

Lol you're just mad because I went to wowcrack. On a serious note there are quite a few of us that had to learn the hard way, and actually got semi-decent. I left, however, because of the rigidity of the cabal system and how it would not allow me to RP. I played mostly watchers and tribunal was never in short supply in my last few chars. It was just sad seeing a character you've put all this strange and weird ideas into get turned into nothing more than a pk tool just because you have to defend your flag in mithril and a dragonslayer, if you're lucky. If another system is ever implemented, you can guarantee that I'll be back;)
