I was thinking of a really cool undead i want to play but he would have to be lawful in order for it to work out right...Is this possible?

Yes. In fact, there was just an undead tribunal (who are required to not only be lawful but hunt down the criminals).
The only tribunal leader there has been was also undead (vamp).
It's tricky to RP, but it's definitely doable... Saruk was an undead necromancer Tribunal that recently deleted, I had an undead monk Trib for a short time in the summer, and one of the best Tribs that we've ever had was a vampire.
can an undead be good align? I know that sounds rediculious but it actually fits the character i have drawn up...
Anything is possible but expect to be super gimped if you are going for a combo that is not generally allowed.
A good-aligned outcast undead will basically make you cry...for a very long time.
It's EXTREMELY unlikely that you'd be allowed to get an undead outcasted to good... undead in FL are chosen elite of the Death gods. I'd expect that god to simply destroy you before letting you start betraying it.
