mushclient and aliases

I want to be able to type in 'l in back' or 'open back' and have it output 'l in backpack' or 'open backpack'. How do I do this.

in your menu, go to game, then configure, then aliases. It is pretty self explanatory after that

you don't need to, 'l in back' and 'open back' will work in the mud.

Yeah, unless you want like a one letter type to open backpack, look in backpack, there's no point in adding that as an alias or anything.

alias *

whatever the alias to do and if there's a target %1

flame *

c 'flame arrow' %1

flame bumpkin = c 'flame arrow' bumpkin

i got it working. i don't use autoaim obj, causes too many problems.

i was hoping for a single alias that would always replace 'back' with 'backpack', but instead had to set up individual aliases for 'l in back', 'take * back', and 'put * back'.

Should have something called nicknames?

Will replace all instances of back with backpack.

Problem becomes: Hey man, watch your back! = Hey man, watch your backpack!

No worries there, play a thief.
