By that logic, Dey, I'm better than Jhyral. And I know I'm not. Killing someone once means nothing. Killing them most of the time, on the other hand...
Chasing
Actually Dey...you didn't kill me..just beat me (in this case got the stunning blow) ![]()
Not all of the people listed there are actual deaths/stuns...
Jhyral (as hersnaie conclave)..yeah I killed him three times at rank ~43 (my title was ranger queen?) (him at 50!) with a half-elf and bunch of times total later...but he also killed me a bunch (stupid phantom double deaths)...maybe this char is the only char to be a cabal leader at rank 47?
then again..nobody remembers seri the half-elf
:(
but most of the time? certainly not a clear advantage anyways...andolini and grishnak really smoked seri in duels too :S

I know that. But let me have my moment.
Why are you trying to take away the slighest glimmer of glory I will ever have away from me? ![]()
Dey
Because it makes me feel superior.
It's best not to get your hopes up.
Because it makes me feel superior.
Want to settle this in PK?
You don't want to mess with me. I owned Celerity hard. She was trying her hardest and everything, and I didn't even use sanctuary.
Or a weapon.
Or armor.
Dey
Yeah, me too. I all I used was Awesome.
ahh, what you all are good at is professional subject derailment.
an honest question about chasing turns into a whos beat who fest. ![]()
of course every thread lasts about ten posts unless its something the core "forumites" are interested in

Is that how you describe yourself on lavalife?
llithid Invoker would be a powerhouse.
Another style people don't often mention in the chasing side of things is knowing your opponent, and knowing the likely areas which will be fled to based on your current location. You don't have to be the fastest using this method, and in fact I find it works wonders against people. Let them flee, tail them for a bit going a little slower than them but getting in idea of their direction. Note which areas are most likely to be fled to for a quick nap, and start going down the list after a tick or two. Often times you'll find your opponent in a very vulnerable state, especially non C/Cs. A sleeping warrior who is about to lose sanc is going to die very quickly when you catch him.
Note: You will lose some smarter players with this method, hence the "knowing your opponent" side of things.
Paladins are great for chasing/running with Heroism up because they're like Duracell batteries.
Talk about being able to outrun anyone (even classes with refresh will have to waste that little bit of time casting it), or if you can keep up with someone and know where they're going, follow them until they run out of moves. ![]()
Combine that with a lag skill that lags them for a tiny, tiny bit longer than it lags you, and you can get back to chasing instantly as soon as they flee.
