AC? whats a "decent" number

I wish i could have 1000 AC.

I think i never hited 500 mark.

But HP is a lot better than AC.

Only for insane amounts of AC does it compensates HP.

Unless you are a halfling healer that only fights mobs...

Hit/Dam

Keep pumping them. I wish i could get 30/100. It would steamroll anyone.

Except for someone with a 60/30 who you never hit but hits you all the time.

Its all about havign a intimate knolage about the fighting system.

If you know how to use the advantages you can the diference from 60 to 30 be not noticable.

Ac > Hp for some classes, especially for ones who can heal.

For a cleric who is an elf or similar class, if he is healing 100 damage and taking 150, dying is still inevitable, just slower.

If he adds an extra -200 ac to the mix, he might heal 100 hp and take only 80, meaning he's actually staying in perfect heath.

And the "intimate" knowledge of the fighting system is not how most of the vets/elites I know have ever gotten powerful. Code power and pk power aren't the same .

P.S. I had -650 Ac once, a savant invoker kicked my *** SOOO bad...ugh, it was terrible.

'Wow' date=' i've never had a hit/dam over 30/20, my ac has never been over 150, and my saves never over (under?) -10. that might explain a few things.[/quote']

Yup, other than saves, that's about where I play. But I don't play melees unless I feel like wasting a couple hundred hours of my life.

AC does not saves you from a Invocker or other spell damage.

Exactly, he said he got pwned by an Invoker and he had really good saves.

I believe he was call lightninged

Yeah...like two of them and I was dead. It was nasty. Oohh...

yeah, call lightning is designed to kill people with high ac...

i rememebr with reannaean, i loved decked bmages. heh...
