How many zombies can a necro have at a certain level ?
Is it, 1 till 40, 2 from 40 to 50 and 3 at 50 or is it sooner ?
Also does hold undead works on mobs ?

I don't know that hold undead works on anyone.

It makes necromancers the perfect class to play against undead PCs.
heh, just looked at this thread, there seemed to be no answer at all to her questions. The way you said it in your post is correct, not sure bout hold undead on mob mobs, I'm assuming it works on undead pets however

yes you are correct with your zombies at what lvls...and as far as hold undead it will never succeed on a MOB, but is very effective against players. This just makes it easy to get to 100% yet hard to work in to battle strategy as you have to do so while fighting undead's in pkill, and they usually dont proffer themselves for being your little mice for such an experiement heh.
Ive held mobs, unless there has been a change since I last playd a necro.
i have cast that spell hundreds of times on undead mobs, and it has never worked. Trained it before with a pinned necro on mature vamps undead.
could just be bad odds?
I used to train it on the vamps in the tombs on my necro, coulda sworn it worked a few times.

Hold undead works on players only, no NPC's. Also, experiment with your zombies at certain ranks, there are little tricsk you can find that are so much more fun when you find them yourself.
