two pets at once

how is this possible? i see many people running around like this. and im not talking about rangers.

Merchant pet plus the use of a certain item

ok, that actually makes sense, thanks!

necros can max out with 6...

three zombies, two golems...and a certain skill from a cabal.

With absolutely solid PK skill and some good, interesting RP, I bet you could have a lot more than just six pets.

You'd just call them slaves instead.

(I don't mean grouping up with players and ganging people here, as tempting as it would be to attempt to strike one of my behemoth characters down in that way)

lol @ the necro who does all this and then gets summoned out of the room.

My Necro in Tribunal had 6 pets, Pominsu. I never got summoned away from my pets, (not sure if it were saves or not), and I'm not sure when the last time I actually summoned a necro from his or her pets either. I'm thinking they have a special save against that.

Illithid = mental resist. Plus any saves you have.

Almost all necro's I see are squids.

EDIT: I've also tried summoning a halfling ranger (decked) away from pets. So not worth the time, you might as well use isolate laugh

yeah, your better off summoning away the pets..but pinnacle lvl zombies have enough hp that the necro will surely have at you before you kill a zombie.

with vorqwuith i had people try a dozen different ways to get around them...but i was never summoned away, natural resists (as mentioned) and saves on the eq i typically chose to wore made me very unsummonable...

a smart "pet" class is prepared to be split, and part of being succesful with one such class is having the speed and ingenuity to avoid being split form your pets, locaction..environment...all those things get taken into account.
