I know where the clan is and I know its location isnt to be discussed but I dont know how to join, because it says I cant when I pay. It says good/neutral/evil and either lawful or neutral and I fit in there. Im a race and a class so I fit in as well. Im not sure why it wont let me because I meet all requirements including level. Im not sure what Im missing, and was curious if there is a membership cap.

To join the Herald clan (which is the academy), unless things have changed recently, you 'say JOIN' instead of paying the academy guard. Academy is free to join.

This is EXACTLY the personality Herald is looking for. People who are willing to give a lot, get denied (rejected,beaten,looted,ignored,laughed at,married,other undesirable things) and still have the drive to do more work to get more pain!

It was a joke. If you knew the race and class of said herald wannabe, you would definately be drooling. But he probably wont ever have good eq so ha!
PS. Is the herald system of joining the academy and ranking and getting to herald the same as others with the quest system etc.
Not even close, but I won't explain the system. Just get in and find out, it's not too bad.
Well my last cabaled was like that. OH well.
There's still clan ranks and such, but the progress works a bit differently in my experience. Really though, it's not hard. And go for it, the world needs more heralds.
I just thought the system was the same for all cabals.
Base structure is the same as the others, progression moves in different ways. There are no clan quests for the Academy (at least not that I can remember).
