Beast call

Back when I had a ranger in 2.0, the beasts were align specific. Evil beasts were umber hulks, nightmares, and other things. Neutral beasts were just the same, and I can't remember what goodie beasts were ...

I used to have nightmares and umber hulks all the time, was cool.

Recently had an evil ranger, and none of the evil beasts seemed to work. Could only call the regular beasts.

Yeah, I think they were buggy for some reason and now all rangers have the old beasts back.

Yeah the code for them was very buggy so it was taken out, though I did like it added just a neat cosmetic rp aspect to things

No. Only the basic ones. The others, as the other threads have said. were supposed to be alignment based but there were too many bugs.

I believe there are special requirements for summoning the big beasts. You cannot have been in the city for 400 game hours AND you can't have been in the room with somone who has been in the city (in the last 50 games hours) within the last 75 game hours. Also you have to be in a specific kind of room: green rooms aren't good enough. Neither is dark green. It has to be the really dark green rooms. Last, it is IMPORTANT to not take advice from bull****ters.

When I beast call, I DO get umber hulks and nightmares. Perhaps more experimentation in game is called for.

Maybe that avatar pic just scares me too much.

I think Chayesh can do it because he is an IMP and can do all kinds of crazy crap that players cannot.

Did you try it with a mortal?

Chayesh can beast call a pink fluffy ogre if that's what he wants.

I did straight up normal beast call. Not uber-IMP beast call.

Can an IMP create a beast so UBER that even he cannot call it?

edit: I woke up slowly, and confused, after having blown my own mind
