Gmud question

Is there anyway to make stuff shorter in gmud, let instead of having to type out murder is there a way to make that shorter?

make an alias like mu=murder or something.

Oh snap, I didn't know aliases could translate like that, with another word in the line with it. That saves me so much grief.

naw, I always thought that aliases couldn't be adapted like if I were to make a murder one for m it would just alias out the murder, not the persons name. you will now see my chasing abilities skyrocket.

You know you can set spells to aliases too, right?

yea, I know that kinda, I always knew you could set certain ones, I just never knew that it would take the word and keep it the same. I don't really know how to describe it.. er yea

You could have just used the muds inbuilt alias system too

alias m murder

or does that not work?

I've always just put it as an alias on gmud

Once I hit level ten, I just make set "k" to equal murder, instead of kill. That way, it still works on mobs, and it works on players. Real simple.

yeah it can be done... Easily too
