okay what is the point of the catalespy skill is it just to fool your opp. or what cuase ive been trying to figure out why i can use it and its getting on my nerves

im trying to think why it is a skill. only thing it could do is prolong death of starvation and thirst i guess. can anyone help me.

Do dead people show up on where?

oh man...catalepsy is one of my FAVORITE monk skills. I used to use that all the time, saved me too many times to count. definitely a skill worth figuring out.

It's best used in examples like this:

Get attacked in Val, run east, through RHeydin, through the mountain...they think you're doing a standard path into Miruvhor. Hopefully you have a few room/seconds of a lead on them. Quickly duck into the first few rooms of an area off the beaten path and catalepsy. If they take one step into the area and 'where' and dont see you, they will skip and continue hunting.

Catalepsy, when strategically used, can be a HUGE life saver.
