There has got to be an easier way to get these skills mastered. Does anyone have a neat "trick" to getting these mastered ASAP. And on another note, is it even worth mastering? Would I be badly gimped if I just let it go up naturally? While Im at it, what level is it best to get it mastered?
The trick to getting weapon/shield cleave mastered?
try cleaving weapons that are cleave-proof. you will fail every time, so it will improve faster.
Cleave with a whip? Or dagger?
Mahn-tor has a lot of mobs with weapons and shields.
it doesn't matter what with. if it's cleave-proof, you could use a tank and you will fail.
ahhhhh, i see. my first post had an error. try cleaving AGAINST a cleave-proof weapon that a mob is holding (they do exist)
My recommendation is don't bother mastering it. Unless changes have been made to the code since I played a berserker, the success rate for weapon/shield cleave at 75% proficiency is very, very high. There is, however, a trick to it (I think).
