I vaguely recall them getting extra abilities with their beasts. Am I completely wrong? It doesn't seem to mention it in the help files.
Werebeast Rangers
I thought all they had was auto-mastery of skills that pertain to beasts. Not sure though...
Speaking from experience(I had one a long time ago), they gain an auto-mastery of mind link and beast call. It's very handy. I won't swear to it, but I also believe their beasts do a little bit more damage as well.
Werebeasts get tons of hidden bonuses (do not show on prof) to ranger skills.
Which brings us to the point of, "Go make a werebeast ranger, and DON'T convert to druid at level 30."

Were's the fun in that? Druid here I come!
Could we play the "Don't let anyone make a ranger or druid for around...3 months" game instead? They're everywhere.
