I am working on becoming a crusader, but I have a few questions. It says a crusader cannot be caballed, so I'm assuming they can be in a clan?
And is there anything particular looked for in an application?

they can be caballed, when they have become crusaders. you just can't become a crusader when you are in a cabal.
It appears I wasn't clear. But you did answer my intended question, thanks.
The reason that you can't be in a cabal as a crusader applicant is because crusaders are reset to level one. So, yeah, you can be in the clan. As a matter of fact, you can already be in the cabal, then leave for as long as it takes to get back to fifty, before rejoining, if they let you rejoin.
Yeah, cabals don't want lvl one chars. I think there's also some code problems like it resets your spells and you'd lose cabal abilities or something, too.
Feel free to try and get into a cabal once you are already a crusader, though.
Finally, someone besides myself that plays saders. Goodluck, they are by far the most unique in the fact that every one is different. I've had more than 10 of them since their inception, and each one has had varied success... and each one needed to be played differently.
