Death and Spirits

You know when you die?

Well, I see spirits on their way to their temple, but I never see a spirit actually rise from a corpse.

Do those spirits rise from the corpse?

Yes... after the 15 minutes or so wait before the corpse decays, the spirit rises immeadiately after it decays, then heads back to your temple.

Really..what's the point of that anyway? I would understand if it went from the temple to your corpse(then a newbie might be able to find his body more easily) but in the current state it seems like a waste of code.

now that, is a good idea. very newbie friendly if it led them to their corpse.

It is there for RP reasons. Is RP a waste of code?

And to let you know your corpse has decomposed if you were trying to reach it, so it does serve a practical purpose if you don't have the ability to locate.

I've RP'd with my spirit before... only tricky thing is that it likes to just walk out of the room as the strong and silent type.

I remember when it was implemented, me and shendamarin followed my spirit (after he'd killed me ) to see where it would go, hehe.
