Multiclassing?

I noticed on the info page for FL at TMS that it says "Multiclassing allowed" as one of the features. Is this a mistake? Or is there multiclassing going on that I'm not aware of? Havn't seen many invoker/thieves going around blackjacking and gagging people and then proceeding to hellstream.

Or does it mean something else and I'm an idiot?

While I am unsure of the definitions they use for multiclassing the only cases present here would be remorts to quest classes and races.

A true multiclassing system would take a complete restructuring of the balance involved in combat, ranking and the general way the mud functions.

o ok, cheers

What Ani said...also the druid, healer, and shaman conversion classes.

The druid, healer, and shaman' aren't multi class really. A lvl10 cleric/llvl 6 warrior d&d style would be. Not many muds or mmorgs to this date still do that. Now, LORD was based on a multiclass system... sorta. Not a mud, but the first time I saw the multiclass system being used outside the pen and paper scene.

Guild Wars uses multi-classing.

I realize the traditional D&D definition of multi-classing is not offered here, however, our listing references those types of "reclassing", for lack of a more accurate term.

Speaking of guild wars... how is it?

I have WOW going, and also bought d&d online.... d and d is pretty bad... and wow is well... decent except for the combat pvp system which they are updating in a few months anyways. Was curious how gw really worked.

God I can't wait for vanguard.

Guild War is cool, but don't play it looking for any RP of any kind.

Hack and slash with a storyline yet complete world freedom to roam anywhere and everywhere.

The best part is no usage fees.

Clan system so you can "pack" with your buddies.

good crafting system?

oh, and looting of corpses?

No usage fees? As in, no monthly fee?

can i be a multi-classed druid/vampire/cleric? pleeeease?

I play Coh , havent played wow or d&d, though a friend came back to City of heroes after playing d&d

CoH is good, my wife and i play it a lot, have alot of friends in game...very good replayability...and the costume editor rocks.

can i be a multi-classed druid/vampire/cleric? pleeeease?

Sure, but I call dibs on avatar crusader/monk/healer.

Shadowbane is pretty cool too - sorta a multiclass system. You have your base class (fighter/healer/mage/rogue) taht can promote to your profession (huntress/thief/channeler/druid/etc.) and the base class/profession choice gives a few tweaks as far as the character skills - then you can take disciplines (up to four) that can grant a few different skillsets.

Also, its a full MMORPG and its free.

Yes, there are vampires.

Yes, you can loot corpses.

Yes, its difficult to get he hang of, and RP usually sucks.

I left it to come (back) here
