experience penalty

I dont understand it can someone explain it?

Classes with higher exp penalties require more experience to level per level and have a large pk range.

but how do you know what it is? like it say feral 100exp and feral warrior 100exp does that mean its a low experience penalty or a high

100 exp is higher than 0 exp, thus each rank costs more to attain.

500 exp is higher than 100, so its even longr.

thank you

also to clarify:

feral - 100 xp

feral warrior - 100 xp

it's the same thing. the reason you see varying xp levels for classes (like say feral blm - 450 xp, or whatever it is), the system automatically combines race and class penalties, so the number next to your class selection is the penalty you actually receive.

With a higher exp penalty, your PK range will most likely have levels on you. Opposite with a lower exp penalty.

PK range is determined by the amount of exp you have compared to your opponents. As in, a human warrior has a 0 xp penalty, so they might be level 30 with the same experience it takes an elf paladin (850 xp penalty) to get to 26, thus, they would be in the same range.
