mutter Yeah, I remembered that a bit after I made the post, didn't care enough to edit it. Drop the stuff then. Breakable stuff hand to the invoker. The point was that it's not as hard to get rid of nouncurse stuff as people think.
Hum, i think you are nistaken on something or i just read you wrong.
Some Armor does not have a special bonus when worn.
Every body location has a multyplier that afects the real AC of the item (not the -5 AC flag that invoker can put on them, or at least i think so).
Some body slots have x2, other like chest have like x4, i think.
There was an old site that had the proper multiplier for body slots.
But it was abandonated when i started playing. At the start of FL 2.0 .
There used to be a link on FL website.
That's what I meant. I was trying not to be too obvious as to exactly HOW it affects things, because I think it's better for people to learn things mostly the way I did: through experience.
There are still some affects that aren't obvious until you ID them. If you're a beginner who knows very little about the EQ around you, how do you know that every single piece of that spiffy armor you're wearing isn't dropping your hit/mana/mvgain by -23423?
Or the time when I tried doing it with some over high-level EQ, by switching and checking score, and finding out I'd replaced three of my items with no-remove and apparently no-uncurse pieces of EQ that as good as they were, weren't suitable for me or the situation.
Creating a character with the sole purpose of identifying stuff might be a bit extreme (I did it, and as glad as I am, I should have kept the character going) but creating a character with the purpose of identifying stuff but playing them out, with a real roleplay idea and everything isn't a bad idea at all.
Some people just do things differently than others.

Some people just do things differently than others.
Pretty much the crux of it.
