adventurer help

Ok I know there were posts about what I am about to ask but I can not find strangely. If you could post the link or if you want answer then then that is just as good.

I know I retain the skills and spells when I choose a guild that i train but the ones that I loose do I get my practices back?

if you have not noticed I have never played one.

Thank in advance.

ps Do I have to make the descr of my adventurer or the class I will be come?

You get the practices back, and you have to get your desc approved twice, so you could do both, but I'd say stick with the class you will become, just to make it easier.

You get prac's back but only 1 per, I think.

Desc's, you have to have approved twice anyway. I'd go adv, then the one you choose.

You go back to level 1 with the practices of a just created level 1.

Your problem does not aplies. At least as adventurer.

Just that you dont think you can save practices by going adventurer, just remenber that adventurers get lower rolls at start up, so it does not pays off.

Clerics converting to healers/shamans get 1 practice back for every skill they no longer know. So Human clerics waste only 1 practice on spells/skills you will not have.

Not necessarily. Though only one I personally have found that that applies to so far is Illithids, and that could have been a fluke.

Not quite correct. As I recall, you get one prac per two pracs used back. A drow cleric won't get every prac used back.

I dont understand you.

Ou prac kick.

Human puts 2 prac to 75%.

Elf puts 1 prac to 75%.

They convert.

Human get 1 prac back.

Elf gets 1 prac back.

This is what i said.

Think of it this way:

Human cleric puts two pracs into kick, two pracs into dispel magic, gets two pracs back. Drow cleric puts one prac into kick, one into dispel magic, but gets one back. Practices spent, NOT number of skills, is the determining factor in how many you get back. By my understanding, anyways. I could easily be wrong.

This whole debate is irrelevent as you start over at level 1 again and earn the number of practices per level based upon your wisdom.

You retain any knowledge of skills and spells that your new class knows that an Adventurer knows.

All characters must have a description to pass level 15.

We are refering to clerics. Adventurers are completely apart.

And i dont find it irrelevant. Any healer/shaman other than elf/drow should know about it. After all 1 pracs = 1 HP.

And i dont think the human is going to get his 2 practices back. I remenber Viri advicing us to only spend one practice.

He never said a human would.

If I roll and ELF/DROW and spend a total of 10 practices on skills and spells. I will recive 5 back.

If I roll a HUMAN and spend a total of 20 practices on skills and spells. I will recive 10 back.

You recive 50% of TOTAL spent practices on ALL skills/spells. (not including spells/skills kept as a healer/shaman)
