Good clerics were intended with one purpose, and that was to help starters. I actually got summoned by viri and chueh when i first started playing, and was shown a few things about them.
My suggestion would be a human good cleric as well.
Sure, there is merit to making what sounds cool, but you will learn little to nothing about items, weapons, and the like. You will not have a recall commune in case you get in to trouble. You will not have a portal to get away from the higher pkers. You won't be able to make food and water while you explore.
Adventurer is great, but I didn't learn to pk by having a shield on me. I learned by being on edge.
I just need to learn to type "who pk" instead of "who kp" so the immortals don't pick on me anymore. It used to be one specific imm, but another one hopped on the band wagon when I spammed who kp about eight times.
