shield that raises two handed?

i mean whats the point? seems like a pretty retarded thing to me unless there is some sort of hidden secret to it that I can't comprehend.

giants can wield two-handed weapons, and i'm pretty sure that two-handed goes up even when you're not two-hand blocking, and that you're more proficient in battle when fighting with a two-hand weapon and holding a shield. shrug

that particular item has been here as long as I have been, which I guess was mid 2.0

This is complete speculation... but maybe it helps you to block two handed weapons as well...
