groan that's what I thought. Man I feel lame. I'm going to delete this so I can ask in game.

I've always wondered. Is there any benefit to closing your sack? Aside from the obvious RP point... and the fact it could kill you if you have to open your sack to get out that critical potion.

Does it do anything positive?

It "preserves" food. It makes it last a little longer, than being in an open bag. Think Ziplock.

same for scrolls/potions?

That's the rumor.
