ordering and dispel...

Charmies can't murder either. Not players anyway, I've tried it.

Dey

Yea they can, certain ones cannot.

but if it still does not work initiate combat and order all rescue

Hmm. Interesting. I know ranger pets and necro pets can't open with murder against another player, didn't think Charmies could either. If anything I would expect it to be maybe a Cabal pet or something (blood guard excluded, for obvious reasons).

You learn something new everyday.

Dey

well alot of people make this mistake

order all murder

that will not work

order all murder does work, I have a neccy floating in some mid ranks that I have used it with several times, and I assure you it works.

You are exactly half right and half wrong. Whomever is prepared and started the fight has a huge advantage. Even in the defense' date=' the invoker will be hard to pop.[/quote']

The necro has the advantage, because if that voker's prot shield or flight drops they are nothing but a lump of hp and free wares.

Necro, with zombies, is going to be tough for an invoker who will have a hard time matching the zombies damage output, even with those gawd awful spells.

You cannot initiate PK with pets or charmies.

Yeah, it's time to roll an invoker.

Obviously none of you ever fought Inyanos with a necromancer. An ILLITHID, at that. I had to resort to deathgrasp and finally got the powerword kill.

And you can only order all your pets to murder someone if they're already in combat with you. IE: Let's say you're fighting some large level mob, thief tries to circle stab you, you can order all murder 'thief', and they'll all aim at him.

Let me change my statement a bit there. An invoker generally can outdamage the necro, but the necro only has to land one dispel or use something that drops flight for a tick to kill an invoker. (on the other hand, the invoker only needs to make the necro word once in order to effectively put the necro out of commission--but definitely not dead) The necro needs VERY strong zombies also. So, in most general cases, the invoker is stronger. An elite necromancer has the definite advantage over an elite invoker.

Caballed invokers and necros are different.

The damage rounds in a necro vs invoker fight are amazing...
