I recently found out that FL recognizes sticky spaces. You get it by holding alt (alt and function [Fn] on a laptop) and by hitting 1056 on your numpad. Do that in notepad. Here are some you can copy-paste.

You can use that for descs to prevent certain areas from formatting directly to the left margin automatically, if you want. I don't know if it will look good that way, or if it will be good for anything other than making a paragraph indent bigger. Also, I don't think they work in notes.
